We were lucky to take part in the Comenius Project of our school “From the History of Nations to the History of Europe” as our visit to Turkey was full of experiences and surprises.
Firstly, the school we visited was big and well-equipped with many facilities. The students have their own football field, restaurant and security system. Our contact with the guys of the other countries and with our host, Murat, was unbelievably easy and all became friends at once. Murat’s house was amazing with nice decoration and his parents were very hospitable and kind .They made as feel at home.
Secondly, we visited a lot of places and museums in Ankara and Cappadocia,learned about their history and culture and discovered that we have many common habits and interests, as well as differences. After coming back from Turkey we have been in touch with all the other students through facebook and emails.
We will never forget that amazing experience and the fact that we have some very good friends in Turkey and other countries of Europe. We are planning to visit each other the sooner possible. We would like to thank our school teacher and the E.C. for the chance they offered us and other students of our school
